Nobody went into teaching to make PowerPoints.

Generat_Ed

Teaching in 2025 is a war on two fronts — the system pushing paperwork at you, and a classroom of phones pulling your students away. Generat_Ed won't fight that battle for you. But it'll make sure you walk in with a weapon.

The AI builds the bones of your lesson in about a minute — structure, sequencing, starters, exit tickets. You spend another 5–10 minutes making it yours. That's the product. Not magic. Just the hard bit done.

No card required · No student data — ever · Ofsted-ready by default · FE & trades built in

Not slides. A lesson that competes.

Your students are used to content designed by billion-dollar teams with one job: keep them watching. A flat PowerPoint isn't going to win that fight. Generat_Ed builds lessons with cinematic backgrounds, visual reveals, sound moments, and team competition built in — not because it looks nice, but because attention is the whole game.

Ready in 2 minutes

14–18 slides: retrieval starter, objectives, content, worked examples, AFL checks, exit ticket — sequenced to Rosenshine's Principles.

🏗

FE & trades, finally

City & Guilds, BTEC, NVQ, T-Levels, Functional Skills, 20+ trade subjects. The first AI lesson tool built for vocational education.

🎬

Cinematic design

Animated backgrounds, dual-coded diagrams, cinematic image zones. Your students will notice when the teacher put effort in.

🧮

Visual calculations

Step-by-step workings revealed one at a time. Answer appears last. Calculator cued at the right moment.

📋

Handouts & TA cards

Student handout and TA support card generated from the same lesson in one click. Learning intentions, vocab, scaffolded tasks.

🪄

Image Wizard

Step-by-step wizard for every image — background video, slide photos, cinematic zones. Keep, search, paste, or AI-prompt.

You're always in control. Every lesson is fully editable after generation — rewrite any text, swap images, add or remove slides, and adjust anything before it goes in front of students. Regenerate the handout and TA card at any point and they update to match your edits. The AI builds the starting point. You own the final lesson.

ⓘ Always review AI-generated content before delivery — especially awarding body alignment for GCSE, A-Level and vocational qualifications.

The Vault

The Vault.

Every lesson you generate adds to The Vault — your growing archive of everything you've taught, organised by unit and awarding body. When revision season hits, open it up and run The Wheel. Your outcomes. Pre-generated questions. A room full of competing teams. The kind of session students actually talk about afterwards.

🏛

Knowledge Bank

Outcomes saved automatically as you generate lessons. Grouped by unit and awarding body — City & Guilds 6706, BTEC Unit 3, whatever you teach.

🏭

Revision Wheel

Spin the wheel — it decelerates and lands on an outcome. A pre-generated MCQ pops up. Teams answer. Tick sounds, sparks, and gold animations your class will actually notice.

🔒

GDPR-safe by design

No student names anywhere in the tool — ever. Teams are numbered each session. The teacher knows who's who; the software never does.

📥

Runs anywhere

Download as a standalone HTML file. Works offline on any projector, in any classroom. No login, no internet, no excuses.

SoW Generator

The SoW Generator.

Paste in your qualification spec and Generat_Ed writes a complete, week-by-week Scheme of Work — not a template you fill in yourself, an actual finished document. Every week gets real learning outcomes, activities, assessment methods, resources, and LSA guidance, built in sequence against your units and mapped onto your real teaching calendar, holidays included. We haven't found another tool that does this. Your first one is free — see it work before you commit.

📅

Written week by week

Generat_Ed reads your spec and works through every teaching week in order — up to 36 of them — so week 20 builds on what you taught in week 8, not generic filler repeated on a loop.

📋

Everything a SoW needs

Learning outcomes, activities, assessment methods, resources, reflective practice, and LSA guidance — the full column set an IQA expects, not a bare outline.

📆

Mapped to your calendar

Set your start date, teaching weeks, and holidays — half-terms, Christmas, Easter — and the SoW lands on the real weeks your students are actually in the room.

📝

Edit, save, export

Review every week in an editable table, tweak anything, save it to The Planning Room to reopen later, then export straight to a Word document ready for your IQA.

Built for the whole staffroom.

Secondary, FE, vocational, sixth form — Generat_Ed generates lessons across every subject and level, with the UK curriculum built in.

Every lesson hits the OFSTED pedagogy checklist automatically — clear objectives, retrieval starter, AFL checks, worked examples, and a meaningful exit ticket. Less prep stress. More confidence in the room.

When every lesson in your department is built on the same evidence-informed structure, it shows. Inspectors assess the Quality of Education judgement — intent, implementation, impact. Generat_Ed bakes all three in by default, so the pedagogy is consistent whether it's your strongest teacher or your newest ECT.

🔒 No student data is ever collected. Your tutor name is used only during lesson generation and is never stored or shared. Privacy policy →

Less than a supply teacher for one hour.

🪙 How credits work: 1 credit builds one lesson or one Vault revision game. A full Scheme of Work — up to 36 weeks, mapped to your calendar and ready to export — costs 5 credits.

Built by a teacher, not a tech company.

I'm Simon. I'm an FE lecturer — carpentry and joinery — and I built Generat_Ed because nothing else did what I actually needed in a classroom. Most AI lesson tools generate generic slides that have never been near a real student. I wanted something built around retrieval practice, real FE subjects, and the kind of pedagogy that holds up in an observed session.

I'm still teaching. I'm still building. Every feature on this roadmap came from a real classroom problem. If something I've built doesn't work for you, tell me. That's genuinely how this gets better.

Teachers are the best source of teaching ideas.

Not AI. Not consultants. Teachers who've stood in front of a difficult group on a Friday afternoon and found something that actually worked.

Once the first users are in and settled, I'm building a way for tutors to share those moments. You describe what worked — the activity, the subject, what made it land. The best ideas get reviewed and built into the tool as new slide formats, available to everyone. Tutors who contribute get credited with free lessons.

The tool gets better. The profession gets better.
